The ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party, (PDP) presidential flag off campaign is currently taking place at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.
The event is being attended by PDP executives and supporters from different parts of the country.
Among those in attendance were President Goodluck Jonathan, Vice President Namadi Sambo, Senate President, David Mark, the party’s National Chairman. Adamu Mu’Azu, Uche Secondus and PDP governors led by the chairman of its governors’ forum, Godwill Akpabio.
Nollywood players such as veteran singer Onyeka Onwenu, Segun Arinze and Joseph Benjamin were also on hand to add colour to the occasion.
Flags were also presented to the party’s 36 governorship candidates.
